Note names

Default uses the names musicians usually write for that chord, like E♭ major and C♯ minor.

Tap any key on the piano to hear it. An inversion moves the lowest note up an octave, so a different chord tone sits at the bottom.

Troubleshooting

Error list

CK-001
Sound isn't available. The browser couldn't start its audio engine, or audio is blocked. Check the device isn't on silent, tap a button once and try again, or use a current version of Safari, Chrome or Firefox. The piano display still works without sound.
QZ-001
The quiz couldn't make a question. Exit the quiz and start it again. If it keeps happening, reload the page.
