Note names

The second note is spelled for the selected interval: C to D♯ is an augmented 2nd, while C to E♭ is a minor 3rd. This tool uses common interval names; the tritone is shown as an augmented 4th.

Tap any piano key to hear it. One by one plays the starting note first; descending moves the second note below it. A unison repeats the same pitch.
